Angiology

The Department of Angiology operates an outpatient clinic for the examination and treatment of patients with circulatory problems in the arms, legs, carotid arteries and abdomen. Typical diseases are thrombosis of the veins, constriction or expansion of the arteries, lymphatic problems and other more specific angiological diseases.

Angiology Practice at Bethesda Hospital

The Department of Angiology USB has offered consultations relating to vessel surgery at Bethesda Hospital since 2012. In addition to the usual consultation service for Bethesda hospital and local referring physicians, three main focus areas are offered: Phlebology, walking exercise in peripheral arterial obstructive disease (PAD) and podiatry/wound care in diabetic foot, PAD or other lesions.
