Information on the current situation due to Covid-19

Currently our courses are provided on site.

A Covid certificate is required for all courses (3G). All participants need a valid Covid certificate or a negative rapid antigen test. We have a strict safety protocol in place and we always follow the current guidelines of University Hospital Basel, the Canton of Basel-Stadt and Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH).

We would like to give you the opportunity to register for our prenatal courses early in advance. Still we are unable to predict pandemic situation during the next month. It’s not clear yet whether our courses can be in person by then or have to be hold online, that’s why we plan in both ways.

The content of the prenatal course is the same for both the online and classroom format: working in groups of up to seven couples, a midwife discusses everything you need to know about pregnancy and giving birth in a live Zoom meeting. Practical exercises help you learn different forms of movement, relaxation, breathing and massage. You will get to grips with the post-delivery period, breast feeding and your first time as parents, and have the chance to ask the midwife any questions or concerns and share them with other parents-to-be.
