4th Basel Workshop on Current Concepts of Chest Wall Stabilization and Reconstruction

In 2019 it’s our great pleasure to invite you to the 4th Basel Workshop on Current Concepts of Chest Wall Stabilization and Reconstruction. We again focus on rib stabilization and the surgical management of sternum fractures and discuss indications and practical aspects of chest wall resection and reconstruction. A second part will be the presentation of interesting cases with focus on indications and the timing of operation.

In this context we present the 4 most frequently used systems in this field and give the opportunity to the participants to become familiar with the different techniques. We give you the possibility to share the expertise of outstanding international experts. Finally we will have the unique chance to practically test all systems in the Anatomical Institute of the University of Basel.

Register now, we are looking forward to welcome you in Basel,

Prof. Didier Lardinois and Dr. Wolfgang Moersig
