Abdominal tumor center
The Abdominal Tumor Center deals with tumors of the digestive tract (esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, rectum) as well as the liver, bile ducts, pancreas and peritoneum.
We offer treatment tailored to the patient using the latest diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Care
A specialized nurse, the so-called ERAS Nurse, accompanies patients throughout the entire treatment pathway to ensure that their physical strength is put under as little strain as possible before, during and after their stay in hospital.
The interdisciplinary care team is also specialized in the following special patient needs:
- Stoma advice for patients who require an artificial bowel outlet due to their illness
- Incontinence
- Wound care
