Clinical Pharmacology & Toxicology advises other clinics at the University Hospital Basel on drug therapy and the conduct of drug trials. We have laboratories for the detection and quantification of drugs in the blood and make recommendations for dose adjustments (therapeutic drug monitoring). We maintain an IT-supported advisory service on adverse drug reactions (ADRs) and participate in the Swiss pharmacovigilance system.
