Women's Heart Symposium Basel 2025

On December 15, 2025, we invite you to the first Women's Heart Symposium Basel - an interdisciplinary training course on cardiovascular diseases in women. It is aimed in particular at cardiologists, internists, general practitioners and anyone interested in related disciplines.

Leading national and international experts from cardiology, cardiac surgery, gynecology, neurology, endocrinology, geriatrics and gender medicine will present the latest scientific findings and their implementation in clinical practice in interactive formats:

  • Structural and coronary heart disease
  • Heart failure with preserved pumping function
  • Heart-brain interaction
  • Hormonal aspects from pregnancy to the menopause

The program will be complemented by a roundtable discussion on leadership and career opportunities for physicians and scientists as well as a keynote lecture by Prof. Roxana Mehran, President-Elect 2026 of the American College of Cardiology (ACC).
