swissRITA is a reference center recognized by kosek.
A reference center of the National Coordination of Rare Diseases (kosek) meets high standards in the care, education and research of rare diseases. It offers specialized consultation hours as well as information and coordinates a lifelong offer for those affected. The aim is to provide the best possible support and care for children, adolescents and adults with rare diseases.
The University Center for Rare Diseases Basel is a joint service of the UKBB and the University Hospital Basel USB. Since 2020, this service has been recognized by kosek, which is committed to improving the care situation for those affected by rare diseases.

Hier erfolgt das erste Gespräch von Patient*innen mit Personen unseres Teams, zur Planung des weiteren Vorgehens, u.a. der Evaluation, Diagnostik, Behandlung und Langzeitbetreuung von Patient*innen.
