The Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery team at the USB is the only clinic in Switzerland to offer an AI-supported treatment concept for people with facial paralysis. Thanks to interdisciplinary collaboration and a specialized treatment team, the latest treatment methods such as nerve transfers, muscle transplants and static reconstructions are used.

By using artificial intelligence, the course of therapy can be assessed even more precisely and adapted individually. The aim is to restore not only function and aesthetics, but also the emotional expressiveness of the face as naturally as possible.
