Basel-Bern-Zurich (BBZ) - Symposium for Infection Prevention

The Basel-Bern-Zurich (BBZ) - Symposium for Infection Prevention is aimed at all professional groups with an interest in our specialist field and is held alternately at the three university hospitals twice a year, each time on a Thursday afternoon from 1.30 to 4.30 pm.

On November 9, 2023, the fourth edition of the Basel-Bern-Zurich (BBZ) Symposium on Infection Prevention took place at the University Hospital Basel with around 150 participants.

This training course, jointly organized by the three hospital hygiene department heads at University Hospital Basel, Inselspital Bern and University Hospital Zurich, presents and discusses current topics on infection prevention and control on an interprofessional basis. The aim of the symposium is to strengthen cooperation and exchange between the three university hospitals and to harmonize infection prevention and control strategies.

The organization team led by Prof. Sarah Tschudin Sutter can look back on a successful event and would like to thank the co-organizers, helpers and participants for a lively and interactive event.

The next symposia will take place on June 6, 2024 at the University Hospital Zurich and on November 7, 2024 at the Inselspital Bern.
