Hospital chaplaincy services and events

We hospital chaplains are regularly present on the wards and are called in to support patients and relatives in certain situations.

Regardless of your world view, religion or life situation, we are available for discussions.

You can express your questions and doubts. You can also seek comfort and hope.

We support you in finding your own resources.

On request, we can put you in touch with other faith and religious communities.

We are bound by confidentiality.

The service is free of charge.

In crises and in the face of death, however, words are often lacking.

Sometimes there is power in small signs, rituals and shared silence.

These gestures can be important means of expression on the inner journey you take as a patient or relative.

Crises and farewells also challenge us to find a new language. We are here for that too.

Prayer nourishes in its own way and praying together connects across denominations, religions and world views. It opens the way to greater unity. We would be happy to pray with you.

If you would like an anointing of the sick, we can arrange for a priest to administer the sacrament.

On request, we can come for a farewell blessing or bring communion to your room.
