Applied Ultrasound Research Group

The aim of our working group is to shed light on the value of bedside ultrasound in daily clinical/sonographic reasoning when working with patients.

Current research focuses of our group are

• Volemia assessment in the interaction of clinical and sonography
• Illuminating the advantages and limitations of bedside sonography by the internist
• Sonosimulation

• Descriptive review of inpatient sonographies from 2016-2022
• Retrospective analysis of sonographic assessment of volemia
