Mobile Sensors working group

The "Mobile Sensors and applied e-health" research group focuses on the use and validation of mobile sensors such as smartphones, smartwatches and other wearables in the healthcare sector. It tests new technologies for potential applications in the treatment of patients and for the prevention of diseases. These projects and studies are driven forward by the research team and collaborations with international research groups and commercial partners.

Due to the many years of research work in the field of atrial fibrillation and the connection with strokes, our research group also regularly coordinates international pharmacological studies on stroke prevention for Switzerland.
