Basic seminar on practice development
The Practice Development Foundation School (PD Foundation School) is organized by the University Hospital Basel with the support of the Swiss Person-Centered Practice Network (PzP-CH). The curriculum of the Practice Development Foundation School is based on the curriculum of the International Practice Development Collaborative IPDC.
The seminar is aimed at people working in healthcare professions. The course content is particularly relevant for those involved in the development and implementation of practice development and for those who play an active role in strategic planning to promote evidence-based and person-centered practice. Ideally, participants will have experience in initiating and facilitating change processes at a departmental and/or organizational level.

Seminar costs
- For participants from the University Hospital Basel: CHF 2'150.--
- For participants from other institutions: CHF 2'650.--
(seminar fee, accommodation and meals for five seminar days)
The invoice will be sent approximately 1 month before the seminar. We ask for prompt payment.
If you cancel between 40 and 10 days before the start of the seminar, an administration fee of CHF 250 will be charged. If you cancel within 10 days before the start of the seminar, CHF 1,000 will be charged. However, the participating organization may nominate a replacement person up to the start of the seminar at no additional cost.
