Hospital pharmacy

Hospital Pharmacy provides pharmaceutical care for the university hospitals and other hospitals in the Canton of Basel-Stadt. We are divided into two main units, Drug Production and Clinically Oriented Services, and take care of all matters relating to medicines, from preparation to distribution and the comprehensive dissemination of information.
We also carry out research with a focus on pharmacoepidemiology and drug safety and ensure the maintenance, ongoing training, further education and transfer of pharmaceutical knowledge and skills for the University Hospital and its partners.
