Department of Diagnostics
The University Hospital Basel is merging diagnostics and therapy for targeted treatments in a new department called Theragnostics. Imaging and laboratories are moving to the forefront and will be directly embedded in the patient pathways as active partners. In future, all clinical information will be bundled with selected clinical disciplines and managed together in digital cockpits that are tailored to the respective disease.
