The courses on April 25 and November 14, 2026 are already fully booked for junior doctors. We will be happy to put you on the waiting list if you are interested.
Regular courses on emergency situations are held in collaboration with the PROMPT (Practical Obstetric Multi Professional Training) course format established in the UK by the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and the Anesthesia Simulation Center at the University Hospital Basel. The most important obstetric emergencies are realistically simulated and trained using clinically relevant scenarios. A selection of our scenarios include pre-eclampsia, postpartum haemorrhage, vacuum/forceps, maternal life support, emergency caesarean section, difficult fetal development and breech presentation.
Our team, consisting of anesthesiologists, gynecologists and midwives, is looking forward to welcoming you and to an interesting and varied course day.
