The "Basel Angiographic Seminar and Training" (BLAST) provides practical knowledge on neuroangiography. The first part of the workshop series will take place this year on November 27-28 at the USB with the participation of international neurointerventionalists: The theoretical and practical content is aimed at beginners. BLAST is supported by the three major German-speaking societies for neuroradiology.

The publication on Total Segmentator MRI was recognized by the Radiological Society of North America as the most important scientific article of the year. The team led by first author Dr. Tugba Akinci D'Antonoli, Fellow of Radiology at the University Hospital Basel, who received the prestigious Margulis Award 2025, developed and evaluated the tool for the automatic and rapid segmentation of MRI images.
